Spending time with the person you like or love does not have to be always expensive. It also does not have to be done outside. A fancy restaurant has always been associated with steady couples, dating lovebirds and even pairs who are yet to become an item. Cinemas also attract many couples and are considered a perfect place to cuddle and just be near each other.

But if you are also looking for a quality and funny movie, then assembling a selection of romantic comedy flicks from time to time is not such a bad idea after all. Even guys will surely enjoy it, what with the fact that it is one of those chances they get to sit right next to their ladies.

Don't pretend to be so macho now and say that you don't dig watching romantic comedy films. Check the following items and see how a movie date can change your mind forever.

If you love humor so much, then, There's Something About Mary has to top your list. This 1998 romantic comedy film which stars Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz will hit the center part of your and your date's funny bone as the dating disguise tactics and suitors of Mary offered something for audience to laugh about through the years even up to now.

It would've been nicer if there were posts following the last one for Valentine's Day. But, there's this video that has so much moral lessons and reality in it which makes it worth posting - here...that is, after a long absence. It actually works as a great comeback for this blog.

Okay, you might think you don't need to be romantic especially when you have been in a relationship long enough. But for couples and even for individuals who have just entered the dating and courting yard, being romantic pays off in the end and wows the special woman in your life.

Try to pull some strings in letting your special someone indulge in a romantic treat.

Getaway.

You might think that it can be a little too much for you to be romantic on a getaway trip. But guess what brother, a dinner for two in a paradise island can be all that it takes for her to realize that you are dead serious about her. Remember, it's also the time when you can have a decent excuse to ignore calls or mobile messages.

When you get the chance, plan ahead with her and to spice it up even more, present to her a surprise gift when you get to the place.

Art Pieces.

There are so many potential art pieces that were made by renowned artists that hold that tinge of elusive romanticism in them. Even during the stage of courtship, you can show how romantic you really can be by simply giving her a piece of this historical art.

No, you don't need to give her the original artwork itself, that would cost millions! All you need to do is to get creative. Perhaps a card of Frank Dicksee's Romeo and Juliet will do the trick. Put your thoughts and feelings about her inside the card to personalize it.

Cruise.

You don't need to be in a cruise ship just to pull this through. If you don't want to drive but still want to spend time with her while in a moving vehicle, you can arrange to reserve a limo and pick her up from her place. Cruise around the metro or the nearby town with champagne. This is also a perfect time to get to know her more. Just let the moment take you, don't force it.

Wrap it up.

Just before the day ends, you can take her to her favorite bar or restaurant or a choice of your own where the food and environment is excellent. End the night with a dance, a walk home or a sweet kiss.

Whatever you do, be as natural as you can be. You are the mastermind behind this brilliant plan and so make sure that you don't blow it off by forcing what you have to say or do. A romantic date is more than enough to please your woman, work from there.
